LAGOP Releases Official Roll of Delegates
The Republican Party of Louisiana today released the official roll of delegates, alternate delegates and delegation officers for the 2012 Republican National Convention in accordance with party rules.
"We have a very conservative and enthusiastic delegation," LAGOP Chairman Roger Villere, Jr. said. "The Louisiana delegation is composed of Republican leaders, supporters and activists who are committed to uniting the party and defeating Barack Obama in November."
In June, the 2012 Louisiana Republican State Convention met in Shreveport and elected 30 delegates to the Republican National Convention. Thirteen delegate positions were left vacant to be filled by a vote of the state party’s Executive Committee. The slots were left open in order to facilitate talks with Ron Paul supporters who refused to participate in the state convention.
Since the state convention concluded, Ron Paul suspended his presidential campaign and no compromise could be reached with his Louisiana supporters, who still insist on having a majority of the delegates as part of any negotiations. Paul supporters also filed suit against the party challenging its right to bind delegates according to the results of the Louisiana Presidential Preference Primary, in which Congressman Paul received 5% of the vote.
Unable to reach an agreement, the Executive Committee filled the vacancies in the delegation with supporters of Mitt Romney and certified the official list with the RNC.

Makes my stomach turn bro! It definitely makes a man choose to either give up, or fight harder. Very real choices
